1925 Bramhall Park Golf Club 9k Gold Medal
The Bramhall golf club dates to 1894 and according
to the club’ s website is officially listed as a
“Mackenzie Course” as the course was modified
in the early 1920s by Alister Mackenzie and then
followed by a 1934 revision by James Braid.
This 9ct. gold medal weighs 10.4 grams and is 1
inch in diameter.
The front of the medal has the Bramhall Golf Club
seal, and the rear is engraved “Spring Gold Medal,
2 nd May 1925, Fred Ruddy”
Followed by maker “W. J. D.” and “9.375”
This Stockport Club in Greater Manchester is still
active today and here we have a fine medal, with
substantive intrinsic gold content, from the early
days of the club.
