1933 Craig Wood U.S. Open Championship Acme Newspictures Original Press Photograph
This is an original vintage black and white press photograph produced by Acme Newspictures, Inc. The image depicts Hall of Fame professional golfer Craig Wood practicing his putting at the North Shore Golf Club near Chicago. Wood is shown in a focused stance wearing period-appropriate golf attire, including a collared shirt, necktie, and wide-legged trousers. The foreground features a practice putting cup with a metal marker flag displaying the number 2.
The reverse of the photograph contains a red agency stamp for Acme Newspictures, Inc., located at 220 East 42nd St., New York City. The stamp includes standard publication restrictions and credit requirements.
