1935 US Open at Oakmont Country Club Official Program

The 1935 Open produced a predictable high score of 299. What was not predictable was that Sam Parks Jr., a 25-year-old local pro from Pittsburgh, would best the likes of his teacher Gene Sarazen, Walter Hagen, Denny Shute, Byron Nelson, Tommy Armour and the rest of the field. The front cover is ALL ORIGINAL, free from rips and intact on this example - as someone in review of your collection flipping through programs 1933, 1934, 1935 might notice. This is because not only is the binding tight affixing the cover, but with the inner pages in lily white condition with no signs of staining or water damage. Take a look for yourself and add this pre WWII program from Oakmont's '35 US Open.
