1937 US Open Official Program Oakland Hills Country Club - Ralph Guldahl Win
Official tournament program for the Forty-First United States Open Championship, conducted by the United States Golf Association on June 10, 11, and 12, 1937, at Oakland Hills Country Club in Birmingham, Michigan. This event marked the first of two consecutive U.S. Open titles won by Ralph Guldahl. The program contains very limited edition metal Wire-O spiral binding. The front cover features a central photograph of the Oakland Hills clubhouse and course, with the event title and dates printed above and below. A diagonal black ink stamp reading CHECKING COPY is present on the lower-left corner of the front cover designation for proof edition prior to mass printing. Internal content includes a feature on page 9 titled Tony Manero Defends His Title, accompanied by photographs of the 1936 trophy presentation and the U.S. Open Championship Trophy. Fully intact program in pleasing good condition. This is a program that frequently appears as a need on many advanced U.S. Open program collections.
