1940’s Penny Cigarettes Pin-Up Golf Trade Stimulator Punch Board
This original and unused vintage advertising punch board was produced by Bork Mfg. Co. of New York. Functioning as a trade stimulator in the mid-20th century, circa the 1940s, this game was used in retail establishments to encourage sales through a low-cost gambling mechanism. The board is constructed from a wood-like material with a lithographed paper facade. The top left corner features a pin-up illustration of a blonde woman in sexy yellow golf attire. To the right, the board is labeled Penny Cigarettes with a price point of 1 cent per sale. The text outlines a prize system where specific punched numbers earn between one and three packages of cigarettes, accompanied by miniature illustrations of Camel and Lucky Strike packaging. The bottom half of the board features a grid of 1,000 holes covered by multicolored paper circles in red, green, and yellow. 8" x 9"
