1942 Tam O'Shanter Tournament Program - First
July of 1942 saw one of the finest field of golfers which would be assembled during the war years for the All American held just outside Chicago, Illinois at Tam O'Shanter. Byron Nelson defended his 1941 title at the tournament. Offered here is the event's program. The cover employed similar cover graphics to the 1941 program with changes made to reflect a rise in prize money and a switch from a September to July tournament. The real beauty of this program which remains in good condition is it's center spread which depicts the star studded field which competed in the event highlighted by Nelson and Ben Hogan. The front and back cover are separated from the body of the program, as well as each other
