1951 Ryder Cup Victory Dinner Pinehurst Country Club Program & Menu
This is an original four-page folded program and menu for the Victory Dinner held in honor of the British and United States Ryder Cup teams. The event took place at the Pinehurst Country Club in Pinehurst, North Carolina, on Sunday, November 4, 1951, following the conclusion of the 9th Ryder Cup matches. A light center crease is present consistent with placement in the inside pocket of a man’s suit coat of the day. The interior identifies the Guests of Honor, listing the full rosters for both competing teams. The United States team list features several Hall of Fame golfers, including Captain Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Jimmy Demaret, Jack Burke, Jr., and Lloyd Mangrum.
