1960 Second World Amateur Team Championship Eisenhower Trophy Program Merion Golf Club
Presented here is an Official tournament program for the Second World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy, held at the Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, from September 28 to October 1, 1960. A primary feature of the program is a three-panel fold-out color map of the Merion Golf Club East Course, which incorporates an illustrated scorecard for the 18-hole course. The program contains advertisements and listings for corporate sponsors of the period, including United States Steel, Ford Motor Company, and The Coca-Cola Company. The back cover includes the Sports Illustrated logo and four corner notches intended to secure a daily pairings sheet. Jack Nicklaus played in this event as an amateur.
