1964 U.S. Open Press Kit with Program - Scarce

The 1964 U.S. Open Championship was the 64th U.S. Open played June 18-20 at Congressional Country Club (Blue Course) in Bethesda, Maryland. Ken Venturi was the dramatic winner that year. A press kit such as this always has some very interesting items, especially ones that are from over 50 years ago. In addition to the entire press kit, a program in near mint condition also comes with the lot. As produced by the United States Golf Association in very limited numbers, for use by the media covering the '64 Open, this item was not offered to the general public.
