A Set of Eight Wilson Melamine Golf Coasters Featuring Professional Golfers
This set of eight circular coasters is constructed from molded white melamine, each featuring a color transfer illustration depicting golf figures in a mid-century style. Four coasters are dedicated to specific professional golfers, with their names or signatures printed alongside the illustrations: George Archer, Mickey Wright, Gene Sarazen, and Dave Marr. The remaining four coasters depict unnamed golfers in various poses, including a player in a yellow sweater putting, a man in a red sweater sitting on a golf bag, a golfer in a green jacket finishing a swing, and a player in a blue shirt finishing a swing. Each coaster features a slightly raised rim and a recessed underside. The base of each piece contains a central recessed circle with the embossed name Wilson in a stylized script.
