Arnold Palmer Signed 1971 Jr. League of Spokane Program with Kiwanis Charity Program
By the early 1970’s Arnold Palmer had won over 60 tour events including 7 majors. His immense popularity led to a high demand for him to appear in charitable golf exhibitions. Presented here are 2 programs from theses exhibitions including 1 signed by Palmer. They include the following:1) A March 1970 exhibition with Gary Player and Arnold Palmer paired with Gary Koch and Eddie Pearce at the Longboat Key Golf Club benefiting the Kiwanis Clubs Sarasota. 2) A May 1971 Exhibition with Arnold Palmer, Rod Funseth, John Brodie, and Pat Welch at the Spokane Country Club benefiting the Junior League of Spokane. The latter is signed to the cover by not only Palmer, but fellow PGA Pro's Rod Funseth, and John Brodie as well. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
