Arnold Palmer Signed The Turning Point: 54th US Amateur Championship. Commemorative Edition
This commemorative volume, titled The Turning Point, documents Arnold Palmer's victory at the 1954 U.S. Amateur Championship at the Country Club of Detroit. The book provides a detailed account of the tournament that Palmer frequently cited as the turning point of his career. The interior features numerous black and white photographic plates and text detailing the final round, Palmer's transition to professional golf, and biographical information. This book is signed on the front flyleaf in ink by Arnold Palmer and his wife Winnie. James Spence Authentication has reviewed this signature and a JSA ALOA will accompany this lot.
