Balfour Pinehurst Country Club Putter Boy Copper Finished Metal Statue
A copper-finished cast metal sculpture depicting a young boy golfer in a putting stance is mounted on a square, black-painted wooden plinth. The figure is modeled in oversized period clothing, including a floppy newsboy-style cap and boots, and holds a thin metal club. The circular metal base upon which the figure stands features incised radiating lines and bears the characters PINEHURST and COUNTRY CLUB as visible in the first photograph. The underside of the wooden base features a central recessed nut and a gold-toned circular foil label. This adhesive label is printed with the text JEWELRY'S FINEST CRAFTSMEN around the perimeter and BALFOUR in the center within a shield logo beneath a classical building graphic. 9" x 9"x 10"
