This multimedia star was also an accomplished golfer which saw him at the peak of his game carry a two handicap. Crosby's game was so honed that he competed in both the British and U.S. Amateurs. For his efforts in promoting the game of golf Crosby, who passed away in 1977, was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame.
