Bobby Jones Signed 1948 Letter to Coca-Cola Exec Photo Display - Framed
Written and signed by The Great Bobby Jones on his law firm letterhead to Coca-Cola higher-ups Mr. Charles E. Newton and Mr. Rufus E. Brown is this April 23, 1948. Bobby Jones' investment in numerous bottling facilities of in his hometown, Atlanta soda company is well documented - coming after the corporate lawyer by trade became close with the Coca-Cola Chairman Robert Woodruff. Jones details in the correspondence regarding direction sent to Dick Bennett regarding cup machines. The letter is hand-signed Bob in black ink from a steel-tip fountain pen above his typed name. Accompanying the letter is a colorized action photograph depicting Jones in a classic swing follow-through and an engraved black and silver-tone plaque summarizing his career achievements, including 13 major championships and his role as founder of the Masters Tournament. The items are housed in a black wooden frame with a custom 'Masters' green double mat. The signature is accompanied by a Full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA), certification number B60831.
