Carry Middlecoff Original Wire Photo - Receiving Plaque From Bobby Jones
This 10" x 6 1/2" original wire photo is from the final day, Sunday, during the 1955 Masters Tournament. Bobby Jones is seen handing over a plaque to Middlecoff for his first and only Masters victory. During his playing career, Middlecoff won 40 PGA Tour tournaments, including the 1955 Masters and U.S. Open titles in 1949 and 1956. He also won the Vardon Trophy for lowest scoring average in 1956
