Circa 1960's Original Gary Player Pencil & Gouache on Board by Artist Bernie Fuchs - Framed
Bernie Fuch's original pencil & gouache on board depicting the man they call 'The Black Knight.' The primary Player overseas a group of seven images featuring the Grand Slam golfer in a variety of action positions, with close shots showing emotion added in. Composed of largely cool colors with shades of purples and greens dominating the painting that is signed by the famous artist in the bottom right color in white. The American Illustrator's work is on a pedestal among the great contemporary American painters, with a special emphasis on the sports industry. Fuchs is credited with over 50 Sports Illustrated covers, postage stamps, work for the World Golf Hall of Fame, among other projects in his patented creation style influenced by photography and using artistic liberties in color and the simplification of detail. The subject matter for this painting features a 1960's Gary Player with a matching time-period style illustrated. This is framed tastefully with a cream matting with a black perimeter. 22 3/4" x 29 1/2"

Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 10:00pm EDT Sunday, April 10th. When placing your INITIAL bid in the auction, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items with multiple bidders in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval, and the clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will automatically close at 10pm EDT
4. All available lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 10pm EDT
