Cyril Tolley Signed Cut
Cyril Tolley was a two time British Amateur champion (1920 & 1929) and a four time British Walker Cupper (1922,23,24,26,30). Cyril Tolley came as close to anyone in defeating Bobby Jones during Jones' 1930 Grand Slam run. Tolley met Jones in the fourth round of the British Amateur, which was the first leg of the Jones Slam. It was a close match all the way, with Jones finally winning when he laid Tolley a stymie on the 37th hole. Cut measures 3 1/2" x 2". James Spence Authentication has reviewed the autograph of Tolley, and their paperwork of authenticity will come with this lot
