Five (5) 1983 Ryder Cup at PGA National Tickets & (3) Draw Sheets
This collection consists of eight pieces of official ephemera from the 25th International Ryder Cup Matches, held at the PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, between October 11 and 16, 1983. The group includes five daily gallery admission badges and three official draw sheets. The badges are made of rectangular cardstock and include their original white hanging strings. Each badge displays the Ryder Cup trophy logo between the flags of the United States and the United Kingdom. The badges are color-coded by date and event: a purple badge for Tuesday, October 11, 1983, Practice Rounds (Serial No. 00977, Gate Price $12.00); a brown badge for Wednesday, October 12, 1983, Practice Rounds (Serial No. 00978, Gate Price $12.00); a teal badge for Thursday, October 13, 1983, Captain Exhibition Opening Ceremony (Serial No. 00977, Gate Price $15.00); an orange badge for Friday, October 14, 1983, Fourball and Foursome Matches (Serial No. 00977, Gate Price $20.00); and a yellow badge for Saturday, October 15, 1983, Fourball and Foursome Matches (Serial No. 00977, Gate Price $20.00). The three official draw sheets are printed paper pamphlets featuring the event title, central trophy logo, and the dates October 11-16, 1983. The items are in excellent vintage condition. The badges retain their original hanging strings.
