Hand Painted Old Golfers vs. New Golfers Themed Chess Set - 23" x 23"
This chess set is a portrayal of old golfers against new, using St Andrews and Turnbury Lighthouses as the rooks. British sculptor Peter Calvesbert comprised this unique chess set. The pawns are represented by golf bags, old vs. new; the knights are caddies; the bishops golfers new and old; the queen and king are clearly identifiable. Pieces are heavy weighted in crushed marble.
