Jack Nicklaus Signed Memorial Tournament Muirfield Village Golf Club Pin Flag
A yellow synthetic fabric golf pin flag for the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club. The flag features a centrally located embroidered logo depicting a silver trophy cup flanked by green and silver laurel leaves. Dark green embroidered text surrounds the emblem reading the Memorial Tournament and Muirfield Village Golf Club. To the left of the central logo is a hand-applied signature in black ink. The signature begins with a large script capital J followed by characters spelling ack, then a large script capital N followed by several illegible characters ending in a horizontal line; this signature is that of golf legend Jack Nicklaus. The left hoist edge is equipped with three white cloth ties secured by three gold-tone metal grommets. A small white fabric tag is sewn to the reverse printed with black block letters reading MADE IN CHINA. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
