Lowe & Campbell Fairview Open Hearth Forged Steel Aim Rite Putter
This vintage golf putter is produced by the American sporting goods manufacturer Lowe & Campbell. The club features a blade-style head made of open hearth forged steel. The back of the head is stamped with several identifying marks, including the maker name Lowe & Campbell in script, the model name FAIRVIEW, and the word PUTTER. Additional stamps include OPEN HEARTH and FORGED STEEL accompanied by a hammer icon, and a circular logo for AIM-RITE. The hosel is decorated with chevron-patterned knurling at the junction with the shaft. The shaft is crafted from hickory wood. The grip consists of a black leather wrap that is secured at the bottom with black twine whipping. The putter exhibits signs of age and historical use. The hickory shaft displays surface wear and darkening of the wood. The leather grip shows wear and rubbing consistent with its age, and the whipping remains tight.
