Ltd Ed Old Tom Morris 'Keeper of the Greens' Statue #319/2500 on Plinth by Michael Roche - 1991


Artist Michael Roche rendered Old Tom Morris on the Swilcan Bridge at the Old Course of St. Andrews in mixed metals holding 5 time-period golf clubs. Old Tom Morris was a key figure in golf in the 1860's, and his life revolved around golf up until his death in 1908. He won the Open Championship four times (1861, 1862, 1864, and 1867) and he and his son, Young Tom Morris, are some of the most recognizable names in golf. This statue is #319/2500 and was produced in 1991. 11" x 6 1/2" x 11 1/4". " 10 3/4 inches high, 11 1/4 inches wide 7 1/4 inches deep"
