A hardcover edition of Fifty Years of American Golf by H. B. Martin, published in New York by Argosy-Antiquarian Ltd. in 1966. This volume is an octavo bound in green buckram cloth, featuring a dark green title label on the spine with gilt-stamped lettering and decorative rules. The front board is adorned with a gilt-stamped AA monogram at the lower right corner and a central black silhouette of a golfer in mid-swing, framed by a gilt rectangular border. The interior contains pictorial endpapers illustrating a 19th-century golfing gallery and numerous black-and-white photographic plates depicting significant figures in the sport's history, including U.S. Presidents and prominent amateur and professional players of the time. The book is housed in a plain olive-drab protective slipcase.
