Nolan Ryan Signed The King of K Framed Baseball Memorabilia with 23K Gold Foil Stamp
Nolan Ryan put the K in king during his illustrious career on the bump chalked full of no-hitters. This piece celebrates just that with a visual collage of Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan signed by the star. The central graphic is a collage featuring Ryan in a Texas Rangers uniform, surrounded by the logos of the New York Mets, California Angels, and Houston Astros. A gold-tone facsimile signature reading Nolan Ryan is positioned below the central portrait. The top of the display features a black plaque with gold lettering that reads NOLAN RYAN * THE KING OF K, and the word RYAN is printed in red and blue letters at the bottom.
The lower portion of the display contains a commemorative 23K gold foil stamp issued for St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The left side of the stamp features a color photograph of Ryan pitching for the Texas Rangers alongside a $30 denomination. The right side is embossed gold foil featuring the text RYAN'S EXPRESS, a circular emblem with the number 34 and the name NOLAN RYAN, and a stylized depiction of his pitching motion. The top left corner of the foil is impressed with 23K GOLD. The entire assembly is mounted on a black laminate wood-style plaque with beveled edges and is secured under a clear protective layer by four gold-tone metal corner pins. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
