Paul Azinger Signed 1993 PGA Championship at Inverness Club Cloth Flag
This 1993 Pga flag is one of the rarest flags out there with this one being the first we have ever handled. Sometimes there are flags that come to the market which make collectors do a second take, this is one of those times. This cloth course issued flag from the 1993 PGA Championship at Inverness is very seldom seen. This was from a time before collecting of flags was ever a mainstream idea. Fans are so accustomed to flags being sold, let alone in many different types and styles, that they have a hard time understanding what it was like before those options. It's similar to "what did people ever do before cell phones?", well we went to a phone booth and put in our change! The icing is on this cake as Paul Azinger has signed the flag nicely in black sharpie. He won his only Major title one the 2nd hole of a sudden death playoff with Greg Norman.
