A first edition hardcover copy of Paul Runyan's Book for Senior Golfers, copyright 1962. The volume is bound in dark green publisher's cloth with the title and author's name printed on the spine. It is accompanied by the original illustrated dust jacket featuring a three-panel mid-century modern design in blue, yellow, and pink, depicting the author in various golfing stances. The jacket highlights Runyan's achievements as the 1961-1962 World's Senior Champion and Senior P.G.A. Champion. This copy features a significant autograph presentation inscription on the front free endpaper, written in ink: Sept. 18th 1969 / Good luck and much / success with your / golf, / Sincerely, / Paul Runyan. The interior is heavily illustrated with black and white instructional photographs of Runyan demonstrating techniques such as pitch shots and bunker shots.
