Peter Thomson Signed 'Thommo' Logo Golf Ball
Peter Thomson won his fifth Claret Jug at the 1965 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. Here Thomson leaves his signature on a 'Thommo' Logo golf ball in black marker. Thomson had an incredible run at the Open Championship, becoming the only golfer to win the tournament three years in a row in the 20th century (1954, 1955, 1956).
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
