This antique golf club is a putter features a metal head, wooden hickory shaft, and a leather-wrapped grip. The back of the club head bears a stamped oval mark containing the characters R. M. THOMSON and GLENRIDGE N.J. The club head is designed with a smooth face and a blade-style profile. The shaft is made of hickory wood with a dark finish and visible grain. The grip consists of an aged leather wrap secured with black whipping. The head shows use and age consistent with clubs of this vintage. The wooden shaft shows minor surface wear and scattered nicks. The leather grip shows wear, darkening, and areas of separation in the wrap. 37 1/2”
