An antique mallet-style golf putter produced by the Standard Golf Co. of Birmingham, England. The club features an aluminum-alloy head identified as The New Mills R.N.G. Model. The crown of the head includes an incised T-shaped alignment mark, while the face is finished with a cross-hatched scoring pattern. The sole is stamped with multiple markings: a circular stamp reading STANDARD GOLF CO around MILLS B'HAM; PATENT BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND; REGISTERED NO 504455; THE NEW MILLS; and R.N.G. MODEL above MEDIUM LIE. The club is fitted with a hickory wood shaft and a dark leather-wrapped grip.
