The pitcher serves as a golf trophy, engraved on the front with the text 36 HOLE MEDAL and the year 1966. An applied circular medallion features the club logo with a central column and crossed golf clubs, surrounded by the text The Country Club, 1897, and FARMINGTON, CONN. The base is impressed with the maker name POOLE SILVER CO, the abbreviation E P C A, and the model number 530. The lot includes a large circular patch embroidered with gold-tone bullion-style thread on a black backing, reading THE COUNTRY CLUB, 1897, and FARMINGTON. A smaller circular patch with a yellow border features the club logo and the text The Country Club and FARMINGTON.
