Antique mashie golf club manufactured by Tom Stewart in St. Andrews, Scotland. The hand-forged iron head features a dot-punched face pattern and a beveled sole. The reverse side of the head is stamped with multiple marks including the word SPECIAL, HAND FORGED, and MADE IN SCOTLAND. The center of the head contains the maker's oval stamp T. STEWART MAKER ST ANDREWS positioned above the iconic pipe trademark and the text REG. TRADE MARK. The toe of the club is stamped vertically with the word MASHIE. The club is constructed with a traditional tapered hickory wood shaft and is finished with a period black leather wrap grip secured with twine whipping. 36"
